Step-by-step instructions for installing Milo on macOS
A. Download & Installation
Navigate to the GitHub Release page
Click on the .dmg file under Assets to begin download
Open the downloaded DMG file and drag Milo to your Applications folder
B. Bypassing macOS Security
Step 1: Adjust Security Settings
Open System Settings
Click on Privacy & Security
Click the lock icon and change "Allow applications from" to "App Store and identified developers"
Step 2: Install the App
Open the DMG file and install the application
If installation gets blocked, click "Done"
Step 3: Bypass Gatekeeper
Return to System Settings → Privacy & Security
Scroll down to Security
Locate the blocked app message and click "Open Anyway"
Enter your password and attempt to open the app again
Click "Open Anyway" once more when prompted
Installation Complete!
Milo should now open normally. Future updates will install without these security steps.
